"As the project architect, I appreciated Dan's attention to design concerns which most General Contractor's overlook and specifically his care for proper execution of the details."

On the sand in Hammonds Meadow, this home is a standout in its community. Jock Sewall created this classic French design with a unique blend of traditional detailing and contemporary finishes. The clean lines of the home and the earthy color palette provide the perfect backdrop for the owner’s artistic expression. One challenge on this project was to implement a waterproofing system for the basement that required constant removal of sea water intrusion while placing a “blanket” of bentonite under the footings and concrete slab. To this day, nearly ten years later, we’re still bone dry! The teamwork approach used in building this home just doesn’t get any better; we simply had fun every step of the way with the architect, the interior designer, the clients, the next door neighbors…the lunch breaks on the beach were an added bonus!
